Somehow they managed to go even deeper into bleak atmospheres and hateful aggression. Their songwriting also evolved further and transports the emotions fittingly. Stellar release with very high production values. Get into the details 🖤 mourner

This record recalls that quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away". There's nothing left to take away here - the composition and execution is thoughtful and sure-handed, the result focused and powerful. This is black metal long removed from icy Norwegian forests; instead, it trawls shadowy inner currents, where spirits dwell. Abandon hope, but discover oneself, all ye who enter. fyeahmetal

Thanks for leeding me here, Ippocalyptica. This is indeed compareable to Marthyrium's 2023 masterpiece in terms of relentlessness and intensity. The guitars are sharp enough to cut through diamonds. The dissonance and the melodies are perfectly woven together with the fierce, unmistakingly French vocals. Since this is 8 years old, a follow-up would be greatly apprechiated. mourner

A great and logical step up from Ashes of Angels. Here they really delve deeper into their own bleak atmospheres. Prepare to be taken there. Ah, and it's a one way ticket 🖤 mourner
